Market Manger Position:

Our leagues are growing, and we are looking for someone to grow with us.  Success in this position will provide the basis for future advancement opportunities!

Responsibilities:

• Daily scheduling of leagues and work through daily tasks of operations.
• Manage emails daily and interactions with participants.
• Training, recruiting, and hiring of new referees league managers and umpires.  Management of scheduling independent contractors on a weekly basis, covering shifts as needed, and updating and maintaining rules for leagues as needed and ensuring all contractors are on the same page for rules per sport.
• Coordinate and referee games as needed.
• Manage and maintain all league venues daily/weekly to make sure all are fully functional for league play.  This includes but is not limited to grooming ball diamonds, painting fields, raking, etc.  Coordinate plan of action for weather crisis events.
• Represent Chattanooga Sports Leagues (CSL) at multiple sporting events on a weekly basis.  This includes setup and take down for leagues, directing referee’s and participants to correct locations, refereeing games as needed, interacting with participants, quality control.
• Maintain excellent customer service and actively work to retain players and generate referrals.
• Support league growth by recruiting teams and maintaining great working relationships with our partners.
• Support league growth by organizing and executing promotional and recruiting event appearances.
• Recruit and build corporate teams and programs.
• Assist marketing team as needed with all aspects of social media and events including but not limited to, information needed to post new leagues, cancelation notices, new events, high quality league pictures & videos, and help with general marketing for company through social media
• Provide nightly detailed reports to the Leadership Team
• Receive, distribute, and maintain all sports equipment.
• Foster and maintain strong working relationships with venue and happy hour partners.
• Research and connect with new possible partners, including playing venues and postgame happy hour bars.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High-level organization, work ethic, and attention to detail
• Excellent Management skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and work in a fast-paced environment
• Extensive familiarity with Chattanooga and its surrounding areas
• Strong ability to self-direct, manage time, and work independently
• Working knowledge of all major sports
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficiency in Canva and Mailchimp
• Experience in posting and creating social media content.

Requirements:

• 2+ years hospitality, customer service, and/or sports administration
• Previous Sports Officiating, Coaching, or Playing Experience
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and regularly lift 40+ pounds
• Reliable Transportation, valid driver’s license, and Clean Driving Record
• Reliable Smartphone, Computer, and Printer Access
• 21 or older
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

Compensation:

• Hourly with potential to become full time at Annual Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 DOE
